FULL SERVICE PLANNING

In our studio we create amazing events of all kinds: weddings, parties, anniversaries and corporate events. From luxury villas and fine cuisine to stunning décor and warm hospitality we layer each celebration with extraordinary details that make our events one to remember. In this package, we’re with you from the beginning as you look for that location until the end – when the last guest leaves your event. Our goal is to make your planning experience a breeze and to create an event that is perfect for you. This fee can vary depending on, the number of guests & vendors and if there are one or two locations.

Full Service Planning includes:

• Consultation, advice & support throughout planning
• Expert consultation with venue selection
• Hiring & Management of all vendors
• Concept and development of event vision & creative guidance throughout the planning process
• Floral design
• Mood board presentations & layout plans
• Planning and managing event budget
• Development of detailed event day itinerary
• Ceremony rehearsal
• On-site logistics & vendor management during installation & day of event

DAY OF COORDINATION ONLY

The day of coordination package is an essential service for the couple who have planned everything, and only require help on their wedding day to ensure that everything runs smoothly. You’ve spent many months of planning leading up to your wedding day. You have booked great vendors. You want the wedding to go off without a hitch, guests to have a great experience and your family to enjoy the celebration. Our team will let you relax and enjoy your day while taking care of the details. This fee can vary depending on, the number of guests & vendors and if there are one or two locations.

The Wedding Day of Coordination Includes:

• One complimentary meeting 4 weeks prior to the event to discuss details and expectations
• Development of detailed event day itinerary
• Correspondence with vendors to confirm details 1 week prior to the event
• On-site logistics & vendor management during installation & day of event

DESIGN ONLY

This new design-only package allows every client to have a chance at a professionally designed event. Allow us to gather your initial thoughts and ideas of the visual elements and we will expand upon that to create a cohesive and manageable look for you. We draw together a concept, and develop it turning to the details of the project: details regarding decoration, floral design and organizational aspects for the implementation.

Getting Married in Barbados

Application for a marriage license must be made by both (male and female) persons at the office of the Ministry of Home Affairs.  The Marriage License is valid for three (3) months only.

REQUIREMENTS 

• Nationals must submit their valid birth certificates and passports (if available). All non-nationals must present their valid passports and valid birth certificates.
• In the case of a widow or widower, the original death     certificate and original marriage certificate must be submitted.    
• If either party was divorced, an original Decree Absolute or Final Judgment or a certified copy of either documents by a Notary Public* must be presented. The Decree Nisi is not acceptable; and
• A signed letter from the Marriage Officer or official note from the Magistrate that states his/her intention to perform the wedding ceremony must be presented when applying for marriage license.

*A Notary Public is a person authorized to perform certain legal formalities, especially to draw up or certify contracts, deeds, and other documents for use in other jurisdictions.

LICENSE FEES

• Non-Nationals – BDS. $200.00 cash and a $25.00 stamp (this does not apply to persons who have residence or citizenship in Barbados)  
• Nationals – BDS. $45.00 cash and a $10.00 stamp (This applies if either party is a citizen or resident of Barbados).  
• Certificate – BDS. $20. cash
  (The stamp is obtained from this Ministry.)

PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS

Arrangements should be made with a Marriage Officer (a Minister of Religion or a Magistrate who is authorized to perform wedding ceremonies in Barbados) prior to applying for a Marriage License. As was previously mentioned under ‘Requirements’ the couple must submit correspondence from the Marriage Officer.
